CLA asked 10 questions of parties (and some independents) standing for the 2010 federal election. Here are the replies of those who took the trouble to respond.

Cartoonist Michael Atchison OAM died in February 2009 - CLA salutes his contribution to the community, including the four cartoons he generously donated to the CLA touring exhibition, 'Laughing With Knives'. During 40 years at the Adelaide Advertiser, Atchison received awards such as the 2004 SA Media Awards Hall of Fame, Australian Cartoonists' Association Jim Russell Award and highly commended in the national Walkley Awards. CLA's thoughts go out to his family, friends and colleagues.

Cartoon, thanks to Bill Leak, shows then-Australian Attorney-General Philip Ruddock explaining to Hicks how US and Australian law worked in his case.
Nothing about the USA's treatment of David Hicks - rendition, locking up, charging with a non-crime, plea bargaining to meet an Australian election deadline, or silencing from comment - showed American 'justice' in a favorable light.
