Beef up public access to FOI, expert says
No government agencies should be exempt from FOI requests, and Cabinet documents should become public after 20 years, not the current 30, says one of Australia's foremost FOI experts and CLA member, Dr Johan Lidberg. He also says that FOI access should be a right under the Australian constitution.
