CLA's policy on sedition
Some freedoms are fundamental to democracy, CLA believes:
  • freedom of speech;
  • freedom of conscience;
  • freedom of assembly; and
  • freedom of the person.
Proper functioning of democracy also depends on government accountability (of elected representatives and their staff, and of public servants), people's access to information and a fair electoral system based on one vote, one value.

Great article! These issues really need to be addressed here in Australia, not to mention the United States as well.

We need to find the balance between keeping ourselves safe from any potential threats, while respecting the rights and privacy of our law abiding citizen's.
