The independent Human Rights Commission delivers a report on children in detention. The report is acclaimed by experts as authoritative, well researched and evidence-based. Instead of addressing the serious issues raised, the Prime Minister chooses to denigrate the commission. Is this what the Prime Minister understands by “good government”?
