1000-police raids threatened by AFP

Based on AFP assistant commissioner Neil Gaughan’s approach to law enforcement, if he was appointed Chair of ASIC & Commissioner of Taxation, corporate crime, including tax avoidance, would surely disappear overnight (‘Australians should prepare for more anti-terror raids: AFP chief’, Canberra Times, 2 November).  With intellectual giants like Gaughan in charge of anti-terrorism, Australians should be afraid … very afraid.
