It’s official, in black and white, and under the signature of ACT Attorney-General, Simon Corbell: ACT Police must abide by the ACT Human Rights Act. For four years, ACT Policing have claimed they are not obliged to operate under the human rights legislation in the ACT, but CLA’s long battle for commonsense and correct application of the law has proved to be entirely justified.
