CLA welcomes the Rudd Government’s human rights consultation
process, due to report by 31 July 2009. We are focusing on achieving
an outcome from the consultation and/or from a parliamentary inquiry
to follow it: a decisive statement of what Australia’s civil liberties
are or should be
