The 2019 electronic annual general meeting or eAGM of Civil Liberties Australia Inc will be held, mostly online by electronic (e) means as covered in the CLA Constitution, in February and March. This year includes the elction of Board members.
The formal results are in for the Civil Liberties Australia Annual General Meeting, held in 2018, covering the 2017 calendar year reporting period. The report shows about 52% of members voted, overwhelmingly positively, and most members who commented had nice things to say about how the organisation is going and the job the directors are doing.
In preparation for the 2018 electronic Annual General Meeting (eAGM) voting the following four motions are proposed by the Board for the consideration of members. Discussion is open on these motions until 4 Mar 18.

CLA’s electronic and postal Annual General Meeting for 2017 has concluded, with about 57% of members voting, slightly down on the percentage in the past two years. 28 March 2017
Members are advised that nominations have been called for the vacancies on the Board of Directors relating to this year’s eAGM. Elections for the Board are conducted every two years. A guide to duties/time/effort required of Board Members is available to assist in any consideration to stand.
