CLA supports a NSW plan to clean up Kings Cross, but giving police the power to deploy dogs sniffing crotches on trains right across the entire metropolitan area of Sydney – without having to seek a warrant from a judge – doesn’t seem to make sense. It’s particularly worrying when the Police Commissioner dismisses a judicial warrant as just ‘red tape’.
