CLA’s electronic Annual General Meeting (eAGM)

Civil Liberties Australia is holding its electronic annual general meeting (eAGM) process between 1 February and 5 April 2013.

This year’s ‘electronic annual general meeting’…or eAGM involves the election of office bearers as their term expires with this eAGM (2013).  The eAGM will also consider any major notices of motion and, as required by regulation, vote on the annual reports of CLA.

All notices of motion, discussions and voting will be handled electronically – online, with members still being able to postal vote, if required. This is the fifth year of electronic annual general involving annual reporting, discussion/decision, election of Board members and associated voting processes.

Voting

All financial members with a personal email address will be sent an electronic invitation to cast an eVote which can be made between 11 March and 2 April 2013.  Members who do not have a personal email address will be sent a postal ballot.

11 Mar – 2 /4 Apr 13 Voting period:

  • eVote closes 17:00 AEST 2 Apr 13;
  • Postal votes to be received by Returning Officer before 17:00 AEST 4 Apr 13
5 April Declaration of results

The website will be updated to advise of requirements at each phase of the eAGM process.
