When your days are numbered…

I recently moved house. I transfer my Ergon electricity across and have a postal redirect for three months. A week after I was in my new house I put my normal Tattslotto numbers in and the girl at the shop said that system was showing that I had moved, that I should do a change of address on my registration with them.

I was shocked. How could Tattslotto know that I had moved – who told them?

The culprit showed it’s face today: Australia Post. They were writing to tell me that they could change my address with all parties who have my address (or something), as a free service – do I want to give them my authorisation. Well, seems that they have already told everyone.

Did I sign a form from time ago allowing them to do this? This is using my info without my authorisation. We have no privacy it seems.

Australia Post shouldn’t be allowed to do this. Tatts shouldn’t know until I tell AusPost to update my details as per their letter to me or that I change my details.

AusPost is like a tracking cookie! …and the best thing to do with a tracking cookie is to delete it.
