CLA electronic AGM 2011

CLA electronic AGM 2011

Civil Liberties Australia is holding its electronic annual general meeting (eAGM) process between 31 January and 10 April 2011.

This year’s ‘electronic annual general meeting’…or eAGM involves the election of office bearers as their term expires with this eAGM (2011).  The eAGM will also consider any major notices of motion and, as required by regulation, vote on the annual reports of CLA.

All notices of motion, discussions and voting will be handled electronically – online, with members still being able to postal vote, if required. This is the third year of electronic annual general involving annual reporting, discussion/decision, election of Board members and associated voting processes.  At the eAGM 09 involving election of Board members 60% of the membership participated while 57% did so last year (no election of Board members required).
